Abstract

In recent years, there is a growing use of information technology (IT) in agriculture (Chavali 2014; Hori, Kawashima, & Yamazaki 2010). Multi-year databases are becoming available as well, allowing to track trends of data along time. Nevertheless, it seems that still, in many farms, different types of data are managed on separate systems that do not interact with one another (Chavali 2014), resulting in missed opportunities for more effective decision support.
