Abstract
Neutron angular distributions around θ = 90° from the 206Pb(γ, n) reaction were measured using n-capture γ-rays, Eγ = 8.5-11.4 MeV, and a high-resolution 3He spectrometer. Pronounced asymmetry around θ = 90° was observed indicating the existence of E1-E2 and possibly E1-M1 interference effects.
