Abstract
The nature of the coke tolerance effect of the 'second' metals in bimetallic platinum-alumina catalysts for paraffin dehydrogenation has been investigated. A method for separate estimation of geometrical and electronic effects of the basis of IR spectroscopy of adsorbed CO has been proposed. The influence of Zn and Ga on H-ZSM-5 for C3-C4 paraffins aromatization selectivity has been studied. Peculiarities of the influences of each metal upon conversion chemistries have been established.
