Abstract
In the present communication ionophoretic technique has been used for the study of FeIII, CuII, NiII, Co II-cystine binary and FeIII, CuII, Ni II, CoII-cystine-NTA (nitrilotriacetic acid) mixed complexes. The stability constants of metal-cystine binary complexes are found to be 107.80, 106.90, 105.10, 104.66 and the stability constants of metal-cystine-NTA mixed complexes have been found to be 105.18, 104.88, 104.76, 10 4.10 for FeIII, CuII, NiII and CoII complexes respectively at μ = 0.1 M (HClO4) and 25°C.
