Jitter characteristics of a four-wave-mixing based clock extractor

Abstract

We describe an all-optical clock extractor for high bit rate NRZ data based on four-wave mixing in an optical fiber. Experimental demonstration at 10 Gbit/s and a detailed jitter analysis are presented.
