Abstract

This chapter considers the unique pattern of the Kibbutz system. This system is moving towards small production entities, fully controlled by their owner-operators, aiming to balance revenues and personal welfare. The reason for the systems evolution is discussed. The organizational structure is described. The current issues and future prospects in the context of emerging sophisticated national industrial operations are presented.
