Abstract
A model is proposed which deals with adsorption of macromolecules on solid-liquid interface as a function of time, concentration of the polymer in solution, and the nature of the polymer surface affinity. It is shown that a good fit between experimental and theoretical results exists by using only one adjustable parameter. Calculations were made on (i) the partial depletion of the boundary as a function of the distance from the surface at different times; and (ii) the fraction of surface covered as a function of time for various typical protein (Collagen) concentrations.
