Abstract
The Anderson model describing double-shell nanoparticles (NP) was mapped onto spin Hamiltonians with the symmetry of spin rotator SO(4). The low energy spectrum of NPs was formed by singlet and triplet states with respective energies ET, ES, and charge excitations separated from these states by a charge transfer gap. The observed behavior of nanoparticles was like underscreened S=1 Kondo impurities with non-universal TK(δ).
