Abstract
The present article is intended as an additional, modest contribution to Samaritan Aramaic lexicography, following the publication of Abraham Tal's Dic-tionary of Samaritan Aramaic. It contains four parts. First, the Samaritan month names as preserved in Late Samaritan Aramaic and Samaritan Arabic texts will be treated. Secondly, the etymology of individual lexemes, based on Tal's dictionary are discussed, together with brief remarks on lexemes that might disclose a connection of the Samaritan dialect with the Official Aramaic tradition. Thirdly, a preliminary list of Samaritan Aramaic-Jewish Palestinian Aramaic lexical isoglosses will be pre¬sented, as part of the major task of mapping the Western Aramaic vocabulary.
