Abstract

Recently, society has become more aware of and concerned about lifestyle and environmental toxins. This is also true for RPL couples who are concerned that toxins within the environment may have contributed to their reproductive difficulty. This chapter discusses the association between lifestyle and RPL including obesity, air pollution, cigarette smoking and caffeine and alcohol consumption. Except for obesity, all studies discuss mainly the association between lifestyle and spontaneous miscarriage. Nevertheless, this information is relevant, and an extrapolation for RPL should be made until there will be further studies. Hence, as a consequence, we should recommend change in lifestyle for prevention of another miscarriage.
