    Abstract

Liposarcoma of the breast is a very rare malignant neoplasm. A 70-year-old woman with this tumor is presented, the 40th in the world literature. Treatment consisted of simple mastectomy and excision of axillary lymph nodes. The tumor was confined to the breast alone. Because reports of the disease are so rare, it is hard to decide on the treatment of choice.
