Abstract

Solubility phenomena are analyzed for ternary nonideal liquid systems for which G^E=α₁₂χ₁χ₂+ α13χ₁χ₃ + α₂₃χ₂χ₃ where α represents the ternary effect. Spinodal curves for this type of systems can generate any of the known miscibility curves.
