Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the research and development activities carried out at the Center for MHD Studies at Ben Gurion University over the past year. The areas of research covered at the laboratory include: basic research into two-phase flow phenomena such as slip and heat transfer characteristics; analysis and development of specific applications such as central power stations using either renewable, fossil, or nuclear resources, special remote location high reliability power systems, and space reactor electric systems; and component development and testing.
