Abstract

A recently developed rapid spectrum estimation method is adopted to estimate and balance the workload for parallel low-rank compression of impedance matrices. The method's ability to yield high parallel efficiency is demonstrated by compressing a hierarchically-structured impedance matrix corresponding to an aircraft model that is ∼256 wavelengths long.
