Locality relief analysis automation for radio signals field strength calculation

Abstract

To provide EMC of radio electronic means placed on a limited site, one needs to use the methods of calculating the strength of signal and interference with allowance for locality relief, Earth atmosphere, buildings and vegetation. The problem is considered on automatic identification of the locality irregularities character, obstacles approximation and estimation of their parameters in calculating the radio signal field strength with use of locality relief digital maps. The vertical section view of locality between a transmitter and a receiver with all height marks including vegetation and buildings is taken as a path profile.
