Localized inverse scattering of high contrast objects

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

The present contribution, extends a recent study of linearized scattering and imaging, from low to high contrast scattering using a novel Localized Asymptotic Born Approximation which is carried out in the local-transform domain. The competence to obtain close form asymptotic expressions for both the incident wave and (local) Green's function for the inhomogeneous scatterer, should result in a fast inverse scattering algorithm for high contrast large scatterers.
