Abstract

The use of inexpensive commercial discharge indicator tamps to generate relatively high Q tuned filters is demonstrated. Problems deriving From varying specifications of these devices can be partly overcome by using several lamps in series. In principle, less variation in specifications from lamp to lamp should yield filters with more exact, specifications.
