Abstract

We introduce a novel system of a macroemulsion of water in an organic phase where the aqueous drops are covered by a silver metal liquid-like film (MELLF). The synthesis of the silver MELLF macroemulsions and a variety of its characteristic properties are reported. Its composition and structure are probed using Raman spectroscopy and FTIR-ATR spectroscopy.
