Abstract
In ferromagnetic systems one can clearly distinguish the scales of the spin (exchange interaction) fields, the magnetostatic (dipole-dipole interaction) fields, and the electromagnetic fields.
These different characteristic scales may define different vortex states in confined structures. In this
paper we study the magnetic-dipolar and electromagnetic vortex properties in ferromagnetic systems and analyze possible correspondence between these types of vortices.
