Abstract

The temperature behaviour of the spin heat capacity and magnetic moments of dimeric clusters of high-spin iron Fe(II)Fe(III) in charge-ordered crystals is discussed. The employed model, justified in [S.I. Klokishner and B.S. Tsukerblat, Chem. Phys. 125 (1988) 11], includes the intracluster exchange interaction, the "extra" electron transfer (valency detrapping) and the dipole-dipole intercluster interaction. The specific temperature behaviour patterns of the spin heat capacity and magnetic moments are revealed.
