Abstract

It has been argued recently that the low frequency direct mode of radiation of pulsars is detectable in the vicinity of Earth. It should be possible to detect the radiation by employing magnetometric techniques. This paper reviews various possible magnetometric methods. Attention is paid to the electronics associated with the suggested measurements. The proper location of bases for magnetotelescopical observatories is also discussed.
