Abstract

The field and temperature dependences of magnetoresistance for an underdoped (magnetically ordered) single crystal of thulium 123-cuprate were measured in the ab plane. Various mechanisms are discussed that can potentially explain the results: spin-flop transition, localization effects, and influence of distortion.
