Abstract
The correlation of the Cooper pairs in the high-Tc superconductors exhibits a Raman signature at the transition temperature. We have experimentally observed abrupt change in the intensity of the Raman scattering of the electronic excitations at Tc. A phenomenological model is presented to explain this increase, in terms of coherent cooperative Raman scattering by the correlating electron pairs that condensate at the transition temperature.
