Abstract
The powers associated with the resonator current in a nonlinear resonator exhibiting period-doubling processes below and above the source frequency are evaluated. The variation of the powers along the route to chaos is investigated, and interpreted by employing the Manley and Rowe theory. An anomalous behaviour of the lower frequency band power is identified and discussed.
