Abstract

A control system which allows the solar cell array (SCA) to operate at the maximum power point and to produce the maximum energy for any solar radiation is described. A control system is based on the maximum power point regulator (MPPR). The MPPR is designed to match a 4 KW SCA to a single phase bridge invertor. Operational principles of MPPR are described. The results of experiments are shown.
