Abstract

The turbulent transport of passive scalars comprising of particles and gases was studied using the Mean-Field theory. The role of the statistics of the field of Lagrangian trajectories in turbulent transport of the passive scalars was recorded. Two characteristic times were employed in the model of a turbulent velocity field with a random renewal time.
