Abstract

After some years of focus on women’s health, there has been recent interest in looking at the health of males with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Searching the literature unfortunately comes up with few studies or recommendations for men with IDD. In this chapter, we have extracted information in order to take a look at male health in this population.
