Micro-computer for on-line control and operation of closed-conduit irrigation systems: An economical assessment

    Abstract

    An economic analysis of the use of microcomputers in closed-conduit irrigation systems is presented. The suggested framework is applied to two Israeli cases. The results indicate that, by the use of microcomputers, annual expenses can be reduced in the range of US$20 to 100 per ha.
