Abstract

High monostatic RCS (Radar Cross Section) objects at microwave frequencies are very attractive in radar applications. In this paper, we investigate a symmetrical, cylindrical 2D structures in order to obtain a monostatic RCS as high as that of a PEC 2D plate at normal incidence. The calculations have been performed for both polarizations of an incident plane wave.
