A multi ejector device comprising a housing H forming a number of partitioned chambers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 having at least two axially mounted sets of ejectors 6, 7 and 8, 9, 10. Pressurised fluid flowing in via inlet 11 and exiting via outlet 13 causes suction about the ejector nozzles successively evacuating the chambers and providing vacuum suction at inlet 12. One way valves 18, 21 prevent back flow of fluid. Increased evacuation capacity may be achieved by mounting further sets of nozzles in the partitioned chambers or by connecting together more than one ejector device (Figs 3 to 5).
