Abstract
A simple model of multiphoton excitation and dissociative ionization process of SF6 is proposed. The model is compared with experimental results of Brunner et al. It was found that a three-photon absorption law reproduced the experimental results with good agreement. In addition the relative enhancement ratios of dissociative ionization of excited SF6 were evaluated.
