Multiple linear regression modeling for quality control of citrus juice

Multiple linear regression is a very useful and helpful technique for prediction, but can also lead to serious errors if improperly used and interpreted. Some of the techniques for selecting the "best" regression model are utilized for quality control of citrus juice. It was found that much care should be taken in utilizing the regression model as a guide for fürther tests in detecting sophisticated adulteration.
