Abstract
Alumonickelmolybdenum catalysts of the GP series for hydrorefining of heavy oil stock were developed and utilized on commercial scale. The development was carried out simultaneously in several directions: modification of alumooxide carriers by activating and stabilizing additions; optimization of porous structures, of the carriers and catalysts; working out of conditions for the catalyst impregnation by active component salts; selection of a method for the preparation of a basis for the carrier phosphating (by introduction of up to 5 % P2O5) promotes an increase in hydrodesulfurization activity of nickel-molybdenum catalyst in the process of vacuum distillate hydrorefining. It is also ascertained that modifiers - elements of groups 4-8 of the Periodic System - produce considerable stabilizing effect on Ni-Mo catalyst with P2O5 addition.
