Nitrogen fixing cyanobacteria potential uses

Abstract

The large scale production of nitrogen fixing cyanobacteria is discussed and the use of ammonia excreting mutants of Anabaena siamensis is described. Gloeotrichia natans is considered for use as a biofertilizer and for the production of phycobiliproteins.
