Abstract
The microstructure development in a TiAl alloy with 2 at% addition of iron, after thermal treatments that originated at high temperatures up to 1400 °C, is discussed. The obtained structures are non-equilibrium. The morphological elements of the structures are analyzed and possible routes of their formation are discussed.
