Abstract

The aim of the presented paper is to present a novel and inexpensive method to develop and assess nonlinear control systems of induction motors. The proposed systems may operate without speed and are not sensitive to rotor and stator resistances. A voltage source inverter feeds the induction motor with hysteresis or predictive current controllers. The presented idea may be treated as an improvement on the principle of nonlinear control of induction motors. Simulation results will be presented using the proposed control systems.
