Abstract

Much of the time spent on engineering calculations and that devoted to teaching mathematics-associated disciplines can be considerably reduced, since the application of mathematics to engineering needs is well defined: computations in engineering must be completed within certain time restrictions and the required computation accuracy is limited in the domain of reality. The use of combined analytical and numerical techniques-numeralytics-when applied without vulgarization, may be very effective in saving time in both teaching and computation for engineering purposes. This work describes application of the technique by demonstrating some examples of engineering computations in dynamics.
