Abstract
The equations governing the flow developed behind a moderately strong
shock wave propagating into an oxygen-carbon suspension were developed
and solved numerically using the flux corrected transport technique. A
comparison is made between two suspensions. In one the carbon particles
are assumed to be inert and in the other, the carbon particles
combustion is accounted for.
