Abstract

The relationship between radiotherapy and the subsequent development of meningioma has been well documented. In this report we present a case similar to those previously described with respect to radiation dosage and latency period. However, our case is unique in regard to the type of tumour irradiated and its location. This is to our knowledge the first documented report of meningioma arising in the olfactory groove following radiation of an esthesioneuroblastoma.
