Abstract

We show that for a large class of actions A of C-simple groups on unital C-algebras A, including any non-faithful action of a hyperbolic group with trivial amenable radical, every intermediate C-subalgebra B, C B A r, is of the form A 1 r, where A 1 is a unital -C-subalgebra of A.
