Abstract
The full geometry surrounding a point particle in an empty five-dimensional universe is derived. The Newton and the Coulomb laws are unified via a generalized Reissner-Nordstrøm geometry, with the electric charge resembling a topologically-frozen boost. The ratio of the compactification radius to the Schwarzschild radius is the key parameter in a novel mass/charge relation. Mini black holes, owing their entire mass to the electromagnetic interaction, are discussed.
