Abstract

This paper is concerned with the operation of the LCC resonant converter with a capacitive output filter operated under frequency control. In wide range of the switching frequency and loading conditions the LCC converter exhibits a number of operational modes. The paper suggests an analysis method that allows predicting the key operational modes of the LCC converter. Theoretical analysis is validated by comparison with simulation results.
