Abstract
In this note we consider the high energy behavior of cascading gauge theories. We discuss their holographic renormalization and high momentum correlation functions. These indicate that the cascading gauge theories are renormalizable (meaning one may obtain sensible correlation functions) and that they may be interpreted as gauge theories where the effective number of degrees of freedom runs with the renormalization group scale.
