Abstract
Ultrasonic velocity measurements in the two-dimensional antiferromagnet K2NiF4 as a function of temperature at several hydrostatic pressures show TN to be very weakly pressure dependent. This result differs from previous estimates of the volume dependence of superexchange in similar compounds.
