Optical flow visualization by deflection mapping using a single Ronchi grating

Abstract

A new quantitative optical flow visualization technique is presented. In general, it is based on mapping the deflection angles using a single transmission Ronchi grating. The performance of the method has been illustrated and verified using numerical simulations and an actual experiment.
