Abstract

In this article, we show that desktop speakersâÂ€Â™ internal (electrical circuitry) and external (reflective diaphragm) design may expose users to confidential information leakage. We demonstrate that these flaws are present in billions of devices produced by global manufacturers and discuss countermeasures.
