Abstract

In this paper a comprehensive design method is proposed to construct a dual-band operation antenna array, interleaving two arrays operating at Ku and Ka-band frequencies, on the same real estate with minimal number of elements. This novel approach targets the optimization of directivity and sidelobes level (SLL) for two phased arrays over a wide scan range.
