Abstract
A model has been suggested for the derivation of the optimal tourist bus tours - attractions to be visited and routes to be taken - that maximizes the total attractiveness of the tour, given constraints on time, cost and/or total distance travelled. The problem was formulated as a linear integer-programming model for the practical situation in which the tour's terminal and starting points do not coincide. A real-life solved example is presented.
