Abstract

The book is a life history following Amal el' Sana- Alh' jooj's burgeoning journey from a young female shepherd to a powerful mediator of political and social change among Arab women in the Israel /Palestine region. Through ethnographic-political fieldwork, it tackles suppositions about Palestinian women in Israel by investigating Amal’s strategies as a Bedouin woman leading resistance in the Negev community.
