Abstract
At the completion of this instructive module, the student will: know how the different components of a solution contribute to the overall extensive properties of the system; become acquainted with the Gibbs-Duhem equation restricting the maximum number of independent partial quantities; and know some procedures for the numerical evaluation of partial molar quantities.
